I would love to access some of these older RAW files, but they do not seem to be available still. Any way we can still get them?

Hey there, are you familiar with “Photo SFXart Tricks” (just search on Google for it …)? On their website you can watch a smart free video demonstrating the best way to create impressive photos. It helped Matt to shoot pictures which leave you with that wow-effect any time you take a look at them. I hope it will help you too…

Yes, this should be deleted!
Just a beautiful girl with good light. It’s not a good composition, in my opinion.
Is she the biggest? No!
Is she the brightest? No
Is she in focus? No!
Besides, the rocks are cutting her head in the middle! A lot of distractions going on!
About the edit, Jared wins!

22 min sayin it’s out of focus.. give me a brake. With that sort of ultra nice picture and ultra nice composition, i would have said it ONCE, and then add a sharpen mask to her eyes. End of the story.

Hello, are you familiar with “PhotoSFXart” (google it)? On their website you will find a good free video showing the right way to take incredible photos. It made it easier for Daniel to take pictures which have a wow-effect while you take a look at them. I hope it will work for you also.

I like the third picture best, I like the yellows and how the white in the rock isn’t blown out.

I’d suggest Greg to be more encouraging to people and not only grumping at settings which are not spot on, focus etc. Happy days!

Hi JaredPolin, I have a focus issue with my Nikkor 18-200mm AF-S ED-DX I tried many way but SOMETIME i don’t get sharp focus in my portrait pictures. I even use one spot and focus on a eyes, but sharp area is not on the eye (same problem when i AF/M focus). What should when I am shooting for portrait picture? Thank you in advance. Cheers.
