    Honestly, when I have the money to buy a nice dedicated camcorder, I’m switching to Nikon for stills. The only reason I personally still shoot with Canon is because I need good video and still capability.

    Got nothing. Only had a 60d and 50mm 1.4. Ebay and craigslist are epic places.

    I went to the opposite direction; returned my 60D because of the terrible noise, and got myself a D7000 and love it to death. Always been a Canon shooter, but they’ve disappointed me. Regardless,

    Nikon=Canon

    Not much. And if you take it outside and it gets wet and it breaks down, Canon won’t cover it under warrantee.

    I’ve had the D7000 I have the 60D now, ISO noise performance is horrible on the 60D past ISO 3200, the D7000 outshines the 60D in everything but videos.

    I was Canon scams when upgrading from 50D to 60D.My 3rd one country should send warranty is impossible.It’s haven’t Microadjustment in fw and My 60D font in focus this year and I kept wait for them to give me the new fw have Microadjustment and now I was desperate and very disappointed in Canon.I will sell it cheap and then buy one Nikon body or Sony.
    Maybe I’m unlucky, but Canon has really let me down.

    you can autofocus by pressing the shutter button of course, but it’s not continuous, and besides that, it’s bloody noisy because of the lens that tries to rack focus based on contrast . on the other hand the 650D does have continuous AF but it’s optimized with newer lenses like the 40mm pancake for silenced autofocus,anything else will still be noisy because of the motors. so in the end, every dslr has AF,but anything lower than the 650D you’ll have to rely mostly on manual focusing.

    From everywhere i am hearing that 60d is one of the best for videos… i don`t think Canon didn`t make it without autofocus
