Hey perfect video ben, you should definitely do a tut on how those triggers(radio trigger, receivers, sync and all) work in details that would be perfect

Here’s what I love about your videos: You use equipment that us budget minded (read poor bastards) would use and not a bunch of high priced equipment that is well out of a normal person’s budget. Keep up the great work and thank you Ben!

As far as I’m aware, the Canon eTTL system will not communicate with Yonguo’s. I highly recommend using Manual Modes in Camera and on your flashes for more control and consistency.

the transmitter and receiver are 2 different items. They will work with any flash, strobe, or mono light, as they have multiple cable types to plug in to your light whether it be a sync port on a flash or a 1/4 mono plug on a monolight. Each receiver will come with all the cords you need.
Get the battery powered ones

Hey Ben, i want to get some Paul C Buff cybercyncs but i cant figure out if the transceiver are the same as a receiver for flashes. all the receivers look like they are for monolights or alien bee style strobes

It’s a design by Colorado photographer David Tejada. It’s designed to fit a Nikon SB-800, but it can easily be modified. Google “David Tejada Beauty Dish” and you should pull up multiple links for the build

hey dude awesome talent u got there. i need some help please! i’ve bought 430ex ii canon speedlite and put it on 600D/T3i canon (even have started using wireless) and when i shoot in AV (aperture priority mode) the shutter speed is so slow that it blurs the picture i have it on eTTL ii and every possible setting has been checked. i know the second curtain sync and all but i just want a decent shutter speed anything over 1/80 as i have big flash on the top on my camera at f1.8 please help!

Here in the USA, private property is considered property of the owner or manager, and permission must be granted for anyone to be on the property or shooting there. I always get permission prior to the shoot during location scouting. Planning ahead makes the shoot much easier for all parties involved. Private land owners are mostly agreeable to allowing me to shoot on their property given a release form and proof of liability insurance.

hi, i just wanted to ask if you are on photo shot, do you need to get a permission from the management of the place you are taking shot at, or you just come and shot? sorry for the bad english..thank you! 😀

If any of you are not willing to spend money on Pocket Wizards then a less expensive and just as reliable triggier/receiver is the Impact. Check them out. Great video BigB.. as always.
