I believe it’s all in the menu system on the camera itself. There are no job dials or buttons to bring up this function. You must go into the camera menu system.

Without a flash, not so good, but if you have good light, in a normal room, you should be fine. Give it a try and see, you have time to return it .

Is the picture quality bad in low light because the flash isn’t on? Was really considering buying this camera, but read tons of reviews about poor picture quality. has me second guessing this camera.

I like the camera, it’s a great compact camera. It’s not to big, not to small. The disadvantage is going to be the size of the sensor. That’s basically what you pay for when looking at these cameras. If you don’t shoot in low light conditions, this is a perfect camera. If you plan on shooting family events, this camera fits the bill, but don’t expect to impress people to much. You will have to work harder for those WOW photos.

What’s your review? What’s disadvantage? Do you recommend someone to buy this camera?

I did do some, the camera really performed well as a consumer based camera. The only thing I would recommend is a steadicam and a well lit room. The sensor is to small to have good light sensitivity in low lit rooms.

You can set the time back in the menu, under settings. You do not need to reset the camera. If you leave the battery out for awhile, it should reset automatically.

@itchykawa, I tried to set date time and messed up. How can you get it back to start-up mode? I tried taking battery & card out & re-inserting them, but it would not go to where I could reset the start-up stuff, language, time, etc…….
