    Dude manual focus is when u push the focus ring down…how do you think you were able to extend the barrel

    I need a lens for product photography for ecommerce, I’m looking to get a clear shot of the product on a white background. I will be shooting inside a one meter light tent. Is the 105 macro lens appropriate?

    Actually no, the front of the lens extends when focusing (not zooming). I think you may be confusing focal length (which is fixed at 105mm on this lens, meaning it’s not a zoom lens) and focusing distance…

    Anyway, thanks for the video. I’m thinking of getting this lens myself.

    Otherwise, when you say “push the ring forward to manual focus”. That’s wrong. Then it is in AF. It is prime lens, so it don’t zoom. That part which is coming out is the magnification ratio.

    But, one question. Is that worth of money?
