Make sure you use a Class 10 SD card. Class 10 has a faster write speed than lower classes. If the camera can’t write to the card fast enough, it stops recording (I also had the same problem). Also, go with a good brand, such as Sandisk. All Class 10 cards are not the same.

I am also a beginner, but you might want to look at how much space you have on your memory card, this happens a lot with my camera, sometimes just turning it off and taking out the battery, then putting it back in and turning it back on does the trick. Good luck!

There not that much, I can afford it and I only work 5 hours a week on $8.50 NZD a hour. Just save and mange your money wisely don’t go spending it on unnecessary thing.

Seeking to upgrade from my 20D & 40D – the 60D seems a natural fit – better than the complex /expensive 7D and with better features such as the screen and audio level controls both of which the 7D lacks, of course what I really want is the improved AF from the 7D and then the 60D would be prefect.

I love my Canon Eos 60D! It Rocks! I have found it easy to use as I begin my journey as a photographer, and as my skill level rises, it has the capability to be used professionally! I Love it! I can’t wait until I know everything about photography and how to best utilize my canon.

you cant view via viewfinder and LCD at the same time. that’s because in order to view on the LCD, the mirror must be locked up, and covering the viewfinder.
