thank you, you are the best teacher… “keep an eye on the program mode” settings set by the camera… not every teacher can be this thorough & thoughtful…

Hi there, are you familiar with “photo SFX art” (just google it)? On their website you can watch a useful free video explaining the right way to create fantastic photographs. This helped Daniel to take pictures that have that jaw-dropping-effect while you look at them. Hopefully it will work for you too…

I recently bought a DSLR Camera, Canon EOS 650D or as it is known in the States, Ti4 Rebel. I have been looking at a number of tutorials on Youtube to help me gain greater knowledge of digital photography and I have to say your tutorials are the simplest, easiest to understand and learn from. You explain things very well, maybe it is because English is not your first language so your explanations are deliberate and articulate and not rushed. Great effort. P.S. Good luck with the killer flies.

Don’t worry too much about the 25 takes – Hound Dog took Elvis around 40 attempts before he finally settled on take 29, so you’re in very good company….

Hello, Oksana: your videos are amazing. I have been able to take some good pictures but still experiencing a lot of problems. Like Bernard, I’m using a Canon Rebel 650D Ti4 camera and I’m still very confused about which lens to choose. I also have a Canon PowerShot SX40 which I use to take pictures of the moon. I want to be able to take great moon pictures with the Canon Rebel 650D. Any suggestions or help will be greatly appreciated. Thanks so much for your help.

I don’t think you get my point. My point is that we can spend our oil an coal on producing toys in China that fart when you step on them or we can use our oil and cola on research on how to get rid of the coal and oil in the first place ; )

mother earth produces the resource we generate our electrical power in the first place dude. even your body produces that power. there’s nothing unnatural on the planet, everything we use is obtained from planetary resources.

I will watch the others before I decide, but so far I wish for less editing and more continuity. I could sit up all night just staring at the awsome view, like I do when I fly. But this is better

the technology that is required to have hydrogen as a viable clean fuel isn`t there yet or so were told at least but yeah good point on always needing oil for so many of our other products we need although i do think by the time were starting to run dry decades if not centuries from now we`ll be able to create out own bio oil on a large scale their already making fast progress in bio fuels from algae looking most promising. I`d happily switch to new energy once they get it as efficent as oil.

  46. Lyubomir Stoychev

    January 24, 2013 at 4:16 pm

Hydrogen economy is unlikely to sustain itself since creating hydrogen requires more energy than you get out from it, plus you cant make rubber, paint, polymers or pharmaceutical products etc. etc. from hydrogen. It’s out there in the books, you can simply go read it, it doesn’t work. We are heavily dependent on OIL no matter what other energy we come up with. Even if we create all the electricity using nuclear fusion there will still be need of OIL.

  48. MrJoon1980

    January 24, 2013 at 5:30 pm

the planets oil supply will never run dry because we`ll be onto hydrogen long before that happens it will be a change from oil to hydrogen not because of pollution but because oil will become too expensive due to demand outstripping supply humans always find ways to inovate and adapt. It wouldn`t surprise me at all if the technology to shift from oil to hydrogen on a worldwide scale has already been developed it`ll just never come into play until oil becomes too expensive
