Review: Adorama b-grip Camera Harness System

05 Jan

Quick overview and review of the Adorama b-grip by CP Tech Check out the update to this video – The b-grip EVO www.youtube.com Overall I found it to be a good setup. My main uses for it will be when I shoot at different trade shows, auto and motorcycle shows as well some sporting events, some outdoor photography, some formal event photography and other various gatherings. The b-grip could probably be used to carry most modern day consumer camcorders as well. The Adorama b-grip can be purchased at the following www.adorama.com

for me, this is probably better than blackrapid strap. I only have shoulder camera bag, so if I use br-strap, there will be two straps crossing my body, the bag and the br-strap, and probably it will make me uncomfortable…hmmmm

For the guy that has everything..
I really don’t have a problem with carrying my camera or camcorder..
    I use a SEE-Thru backpack..
But that is pretty neat..but I thought it was not really necessary.

its made with a comopsite plastic that is impregnated with fiberglass fibers, resulting in a very strong (yet flexible) plastic, it can hold like 17 pounds

I’m really interested in this system or a system like it. The only issue I have with it is that it looks like it’s made out of plastic, and I don’t know if I want to trust my dslr to a plastic holder. Great video, though.

opteka has made one as well, which is – as far as i can see- identical to this. I have ordered one on ebay. it cost me 22 dollars with shipping from usa to norway. IOf anyone wants i can give a quick review of it when it arrives…

    – I have one on order. I like the b-grip because it’s a little more discreet which is something I prefer when I’m at more formal occasions and don’t wish to look like a member of the SWAT team. I’ll use the Black Rapid when I’m shooting in more casual scenarios. In the end all of them are merely tools and we all know, no one tool can do it all.
