This is a buddies car that I needed to restore after many years of track days and little to no detailing/cleaning. In this longer video, I discuss the different steps and products used to restore the paint to near perfection. I also introduce a few new products for “claying” your paint, and show the differences between a rotary polisher and DA polisher. (It is a bit on the long side, but its important to understand the thought process behind paint correction prior to working on a difficult job such as a Porsche 996 in black.) Hope this is helpful. Send me emails if you have additional questions. Thanks guys. -L

Samsung publishes Galaxy Camera kernel code – opening door to developers

14 Nov

samsung_galaxycamera4g.png

Samsung has publicly released the kernel code for its Android-based Galaxy Camera, as it regularly does for its smartphones. The kernel is the core of the operating system including software that controls the hardware. In the short term, independent developers are discussing using the code to enable phone calls from the device but, beyond this, a publicly available kernel gives developers and hackers a greater insight into the Galaxy Camera’s workings than we’ve ever seen for a camera.

Visit www.s3dgamerzone.com for more 3D Videos. This is a review I made of World of Warcraft Wrath of the Lich King in 3D. At the time of the review there were some interface problems and the map screen was rendering at the wrong depth. Most of the issues have since then been resolved making Warcraft once again very enjoyable to play in 3D. There are still some minor Issues present , for instance the sky in some places still seems to render at the wrong depth. For the most part Warcraft in 3D looks fantastic. The only reason why I actually stopped playing Warcraf for a few months was because of all the the 3D problems it had . It was very frustrating for me and eventually I pulled away from the game. I was very happy to see that after months of staying away from the game most of the issues have been fixed. This is the main reason why I’m back playing Warcraft again. 3D gave Warcraft a reboot for me, I found myself going back to places that I have been to a thousand times before and re-experiencing them in 3D. I have always been a big fan of “POP OUT”, that’s basically when the games environment actually comes out of the screen. This has a really cool effect when you go to take a look at your gear or inspect other players. If you set your depth and convergence just right you could have your Character come out of the screen by about 2 inches when you zoom in close, Its kind of cereal looking at him for the first time with depth. It gave him presence and he looked so much
