Orchid opening timelapse with Nikon

www.facebook.com On a early april trip to the Smokies I vowed to return soon for another photographical crack at it. Finally getting the chance to go, what followed was surprising in both the trip itself and, on the last day, the event which led to the images towards the end of this video. We spent some time this go-round in Cades Cove, Elkmont and hiking some side trails along the way. Sumer proved to be milder than in the last few weeks and it was quite pleasant up on the ridges. Lots of seasonal visitors this time of year but they seem to be spread pretty evenly through out the park so there wasnt any real congestion to speak of. All in all just a relaxing time and some nice memories. I learned some things about photography in the process and the last lesson was the most important and the most special. Its was well worth the journey and as always I left wishing I could stay and hoping to return again soon. Hope my viewers are finding the image and vid quality greatly improved from years gone by, and as always thanks for watching and subscribing!

Keith Frank and the Soileau Zydeco Band really rocked the house at the 2010 “Let The Good Times Roll Festival” held in Shreveport, Louisiana. This plant produces a rotting flesh smell to attract flies to pollinate the flower. The spadix heats up. Title: FJ40 TRT: 2:35 Category: Non-Fiction Description: The Toyota FJ40 was first produced in its raw form in 1960, and has become highly sot-after among 4 wheel enthusiasts the world over. This short film chronicles the restoration of a K beat-up old 1978 Toyota FJ40 to a mint condition restoration worth much, much, more by using time-lapse shot over an 8 week period. After spending over 9 months in body and paint, the assembly begins. The film consists of over 10000 frames and was shot all in Las Vegas. The Las Vegas Review Journal newspaper was used to set the starting date and put under the vehicle to collect grease, rust, paint, oil, etc… The beginning frame and end frame demonstrate the newspapers usefulness in collecting this build cast-off and keeping the garage floor clean.
