Just beautiful images with my ATG Canon EOS-1D C and ATG Canon EOS-1D X IR cameras.
First, Japan built & made better cars than Germany.
Now, Korea has surpassed Japan in cars and TVs.

Aside from the “Made in Japan”; The one made in Germany will cost about 100% more, zeiss said the quality is the same. QA equipment is the same they use in Germany and its made in Germany.

I bought a Canon EOS-1 DS and a Carl Zeiss Distagon 15mm…It was the most well spent money in my life…I’m thrilled, the feeling and optical quality are beyond reproach, the images stunning…and I’m noticing an increase in muscle-mass due to proportional weight…No complains!!!

Zeiss is a damn fine lensmaker. I want one of these so bad. My boyfriend is getting me the Canon EOS 5d Mark II and asked what lens I need. I want this one… but I don’t want to take advantage of him, I love him… no Canon lens will be comparable, but as a good woman I’m going to direct him to a Canon version for now. The Zeiss will remain in my dreams… and as soon as I can buy my own, I am buying this baby

It’s really funny how “much” people here who write all these rather weird comments know about lenses. Of course you can change the aperture. With a focal length of just 15mm you’re gonna have a very big DOF anyway, even at f2.8. Do your homework kiddos!

The stop goes down to 22! Not sure how much DOF you could possibly need. The example photos were taken at the 2.8 stop. If the lens were set to the 22 f-stop, then over 60% of the image would have been in field! You could easily do indoor daylight with 200iso 35mm fuji, and a 40 shutter speed.

Lots my friends using S2 too and i wont always tell them the bad side of S2, because S2 got their best side, and Apple did have some bad side.
