Hi @Jared Calise - The Sony NEX VG20 takes A-mount lenses – so yes this lens will fit – just specify the A-mount option at the time of purchase.

really stupid question but I can’t find the answer(probably because it’s so stupid). does this lens fit to a sony nex vg20

The lenses tilt and focus in totally different ways so I’m not sure how to answer your question. The Spark is a simple and inexpensive way to try out the Lensbaby system. The Composer Pro has a really nice build quality and has a focus ring similar to traditional lenses.

    Hi there,
I would like to buy lensbaby product, which is may adapt my ‘speed’ in taking pictures. I used to capturing moments with my point-and-shoot-style with sometimes burst mode with my CANON.
I’ve seen many of your videos in YouTube. My desire felt on both lensbaby composer Pro or Spark.

So, I really need your suggestion: which lens shall I choose?

    Is it lens-baby composer pro?
    Or lens baby spark?

    Thanks before.

I like it. Anything available similar to tilt shift lenses?

It’s not the same as a tilt shift lens – there is tilt but no shift. Tilting affects your depth of field and shift affects your ability to control perspective (ie. the appearance of slanted/converging lines). Our sweet spot optics like Double Glass, and Sweet 35 also are engineered to have a curved field of focus where as regular lenses have a flat field – this creates a round area of focus as opposed to an all over flat edge to edge area of focus.

Composer Pro is a refined/updated design of the Composer. It has a polished metal ball and smoother dampened focus ring which allows you to make smoother and more precise tilts and focus adjustments. The Composer and Composer Pro are stand alone lenses so you will not be able to attach your DSLR lens onto them. The Edge 80 Optic which can be inserted into the Composer/Composer Pro will give you a look similar to the slice of focus created with a tilt shift lens.

Is this A really cheap version of a tilt shift lens?

We do make another version of the Composer that does allow you to specifically attach a Nikon mount SLR lens to a mirrorless camera body like the Sony NEX, Olympus PEN series and the Panasonic Micro 4/3rds series of cameras.

so I have a few questions and I hope to get an smart and honest answer please, I’m thinking of buying either the composer or the composer pro, which by the way I don’t know what the difference is but I think its just the material of the ball, one is plastic and the other is metal “I think” besides that my other question is; can I attach my regular DSLR lens onto the composer or composer pro to have a (tilt shift) effect? please some let me know, thank you

you’re wrong, it’s the Sweet 35 that has the aperture ring. The composer pro has a metal ball mechanism that’s smoother, that’s the difference.

@ClankCR The Lensbaby Composer has a tool that comes with the lens that is a magnet combined with a case of aperture disks. Therefor you place in one disk at a time, to set the desired aperture. Whereas on the Composer Pro, it has a built in aperture ring on the lens itself, allowing you to rotate the ring, changing the aperture more quickly; compared to swapping out rings. It’s just a small upgrade from the Composer.

Absolutely 200% impressed with the this man plays his drums.. So chill, yet not chill.. Love the way he plays his cymbals.. and steady on the snare. Makin yer money on the double bass patterns. That’s where the most concern should be put anyway if you’re a drummer. Your bass drum(s) are the heart beat of the song. But that’s my personal opinion. Fuckin’ a…
