French President Macron takes legal action against photographer over invasion of privacy

French President Emmanuel Macron has filed a legal complaint against a photographer over allegations that he violated the presidential couple’s privacy while they were on a holiday vacation. According to UK newspaper The Telegraph, Macron and his wife were on a private holiday in France when an unnamed photographer failed to honor their request for privacy.

The photographer is accused of stalking the president and his wife during their stay in the French city of Marseille, having at times acted in ‘a risky and perilous manner’ while ignoring warnings from Macron’s security personnel to back off. None of that got him arrested, however; it was the photographer’s alleged unauthorized entrance into the couple’s private property that led to the cops being called and a legal complaint being filed.

The unnamed photographer reportedly told French newspaper VSD that he was subjected to a police search, which included having officials search his bags and gear. He complained of being treated like a criminal and being forced to remove his watch and shoelaces, and characterized the police officers’ search of him as ‘totally illegal.’

Chelsea Girls is a 1966 experimental underground film directed by Andy Warhol and Paul Morrissey. The film was Warhol’s first major commercial success after a long line of avant-garde art films (both feature length and short). It was shot at the Hotel Chelsea and other locations in New York City, and follows the lives of several of the young women who live there, and stars many of Warhol’s superstars. It is presented in a split screen, accompanied by alternating soundtracks attached to each scene and an alternation between black-and-white and color photography. The original cut runs at just over three hours long. The title, Chelsea Girls, is a reference to the location in which the film takes place. It was the inspiration for star Nico’s 1967 debut album, Chelsea Girl. The album featured a ballad-like track titled “Chelsea Girls”, written about the hotel and its inhabitants who appear in the film. The film was shot in the summer and early autumn of 1966 in various rooms and locations inside the Hotel Chelsea. Filming also took place at Warhol’s studio “The Factory.” Appearing in the film were many of Warhol’s regulars, including Nico, Brigid Berlin, Gerard Malanga, Mary Woronov as Hanoi Hannah, Ingrid Superstar, International Velvet and Eric Emerson. Once principal photography wrapped, Warhol and co-director Paul Morrissey selected the twelve most striking vignettes they had filmed and then projected them side-by-side to create a visual juxtaposition of both contrasting

Invasion of Fire- Spiders 3D

03 Nov

Stereoscopic 3D, S3D, animation showing the invasion of spiders on your screen.Thumbs up if one catches you.For best viewing please use anaglyph 3D glasses. My DIY stereo-rig has two Casio Exilm cameras side-by-side. I recorded the fire in slowmotion (120 fps). The difficult bit is to make the fire burning at the right pace. I then used Vegas Pro 10 for post-production.

3D Alien Invasion (no glasses required – view crosseyed)

30 Oct

For best viewing, watch the video full screen and in 480 pixelmode. To see the images in 3D, hold your head up straight (very important or the two images won’t line up properly), look at the vertical center line and cross your eyes. The 3D image will appear in the middle. If you don’t see the 3D picture right away, keep trying, it takes a bit of practice.
