Red Tailed Hawk Call

17 Jan

Red Tailed Hawk Screaming its head off. Filmed this with my Nikon D90 with 18-200mm VR. Not bad I guess. Wish I could get in closer. It was much louder in person. You could hear it throughout the whole park and this park is big! Please excuse my shaky hands as I did not bring my tripod with me. It’s suppose to be 720p HD but its no where near as good as my GoPro HD Hero.

An Interview With Thomas Hawk

An Interview With Thomas Hawk

Photographer Mathew Hanley has an ambitious goal to interview as many Google+ photographers whose work he likes as possible. I’m his fourth interview. I love seeing people pursue projects like this where they promote photographers on the web. In the interview I talk about my neon signs project, my 100 largest American cities project, and other ideas around photography and the web.

Check it out here, add him to your circles on Google+ here, and if he asks to interview you say yes.

www.iwaggle3d.com After a few months of jealous peeking from behind the waggling shoulders of Kinect users, the PS3 community can finally enjoy the latest synesthetic shooter experience from the creator of Rez, with PlayStation Move and (for the lucky ones) in stereoscopic 3D. Wonder how it turned out? Hit play to find out! As usual, the following analysis describes how the PlayStation Move controls work, but does also provide a comparison with those of the original Kinect release. ———- – Subscribe to iWaggle3D www.youtube.com – Follow iWaggle3D on Twitter : twitter.com – Join iWaggle3D on Facebook : www.facebook.com

What? An Interview with Thomas Hawk! Thanks PetaPixel!

21 Oct

Thanks to Michael Zhang and PetaPixel for featuring an interview with me today. I’ve been a huge fan of PetaPixel for a long time now. Michael is probably doing a better job blogging photography than anyone else on the web right now and publishes great stories pretty much every single day. In this interview with Michael I talk about my own background in photography and where I think online photo sharing is headed in the next five years amongst other things.

It’s truly an honor to be featured on such a great photography blog!
