Just Breathe: Portraits of adults with Cystic Fibrosis

Cystic Fibrosis is an incurable, life-shortening genetic disease which affects roughly 70,000 people around the globe. Commonly thought of as a childhood disease, photographer Ian Pettigrew was diagnosed with Cystic Fibrosis at the age of 37. He is currently trying to raise money to support a project entitled ‘Just Breathe’, which will feature portraits of adults living with CF. Get more details and make a contribution

“BREATHE” 3D version

To watch this video as it’s unintended to be seen you will need to have a pair of 3D glasses. To learn more about watching youtube videos in 3D please check out the help section. This video has been uploaded before in 2D. Because the elements where put together in a After Effects 3D space adding a second camera to get a 3D rendering was possible. I’m not sure if it is an effect that’s worth work for my style of animation – but I thought I would play around with it. If you don’t have 3D glasses you can still watch the video in 2D format.

Let Your Digital SLR Breathe New Life Into Old Lenses

It may not seem to make much sense at first but read on and be surprised with what you can do with some "old time" lenses.

First off I do want to mention that using film SLR lenses on a digital SLR camera body can range anywhere from very easy to very challenging and the way these lenses "behave" on a digital body may be quite different from its performance on a film camera.
