First of all, I would like to apologize for the lag. I had soo many background programs running and the only process that had normal priority was the recorder. umm yeah. I was testing a new 3D driver with Google Earth in directx mode. I thought it would be cool to run flight simulator. The locations used were the Grand Canyon and Mt. St. Helens. This is meant to be veiwed with special anaglyph glasses. Those are the ones tinted red on the left, and cyan on the right. If you happen to have some, congratulations. This driver not only works for Google Earth but for games that run Direct X. I’ve played Fear, Call of Duty 5, and Harry Potter :Order of the Phoenix, with the anaglyph and it’s pretty cool. www.youtube.com Click above to watch Patrick Jeans “Pixels” Avatar Days – Full 1080p HD (World of Warcraft Machinima) This is short film directed by Gavin Kelly ( www.piranhabar.ie ) I worked on a while ago called “Avatar Days”. What makes this one special is the fact that it was filmed, vfx’ed and comped all in just 4 days. It was made as part of the “4 day Film” catagory in the Darklight Film Festival. It follows 4 MMORPG players taking about their online persona’s. As they tell their stories we see them go about their everyday lives against the mundane backdrop of city life…but as their Avatars. There was a team of people on this with director Gavin Kelly leading the troupe. I worked on the 3d characters along with John O’ Connell and Will Sharkey. John O’ Connell was 3D Lead. I’m a sucker for gimmicks like 3D but to be honest, I do really think it’s more immersive, it makes old games more interesting to play again too and it’s a lot of fun. I haven’t played dragon age in forever so excuse me for the lack of any tactics involved in the combat, I completely forgot how to play the game but I just wanted to make a 3D video. I have other games that work great aswell, it works with nearly every game and I’m thinking about buying a 3D monitor because anaglyph does mess up the colours and hurts mah head.

For best viewing, watch the video full screen and in 480 pixelmode. To see the images in 3D, hold your head up straight (very important or the two images won’t line up properly), look at the vertical center line and cross your eyes. The 3D image will appear in the middle. If you don’t see the 3D picture right away, keep trying, it takes a bit of practice. Video Rating: 5 / 5
More Information here: www.imageacquisitions.com DESCRIPTION: Nikon 70-200mm AF-S VR Nikkor 1:2.8G ED, Lens, HB-29 Lens Hood, CL-M2 Case with Strap Nikon 70-200mm AF-S VR Nikkor 1:2.8G ED, Lens, HB-29 Lens Hood, CL-M2 Case with Strap. This is an excellent lens, and is better than the VRII’s because the new VRII’s loose about 40mm on the zoom at close focus, very annoying, you can read on this anywhere. Shallow depth of field is superb on this lens, shoot, and look like a pro, read any review and see for yourself. If you have any questions or need additional information, please email info@imageacquisitions.com. vid: _NIKON_70_200_LENS_20100302_2237_01A
