Hand rendered animation Media – Pen and Wash Back Story – Before time began… there was Chaos. A vast infinite realm of nothingness that consumed all things, a whiteness that never ended. Out of it was born Gaea, mother of earth. And from her womb came the Titans, a cosmological race of 12 divine beings that shaped and constructed the earth as they saw fit. They were lead by Kronos, a tyrant who ruled over the earth with an iron fist. Disgraced by her offspring, Gaea persuaded Kronos’ son, Zeus, to rise against the titans. So Zeus, along with his brothers, Hades and Poseidon, overthrew the titans and imprisoned them in Tartarus, a dungeon of torment and suffering which resides below even the Underworld, and so began the reign of the Olympians. However, Gaea had kept hidden from Zeus a 13th titan. For Brachos, the rock titan, the youngest of his brothers and sisters, remained hidden on earth, disguised as a mountain. There he watched nature and the animals around him. In his time alone he became fascinated by the bears that roamed the area, and so he fashioned himself a toy bear, which he held close at all times. When Zeus learnt that a titan still lived, he went forth to imprison Brachos. Upon finding him however, Zeus saw the titan’s juvenility as no threat and instead asked the titan to join him and the Olympians. Brachos accepted this offer. The rock titan watched the Olympians and saw them grow greedy and cruel with power, and so he ignored them. One day though, his …
Heres a virtual movie of a recitation of a macabre little poem I rather liked its a about one of those nightmares we have when we have foolishly, but deliciously decided to gorge ourselves on cheese on toast “Welsh Rarebit” just before going to bed. which inevitably results in our mind filling with the ghosts and Ghouls in our cheese induced dementia our downtime imagination runs wild and as our eyes blink in our sleep we imagine and see shadows and things surely indescribable by us during our waking hours. The poem was written by an equaly mysterious poet by the name of J .A Linden who my modest searches of the internet have unearthed nothing.I guess though that this poem may have been written around the 1960’s. The title is drawn from the Lines i Shakespeares Hamlet “There are more things in heaven and earth, Horatio, Than are dreamt of in your philosophy.” I have used the image of a young unknown Victorian gentleman as my reader. Heres a virtual movie of an excerpt from the trial of the renowned human rights campaigner and Irish Nationalist Sir Roger Casement “The Speech from the Dock” that he made at his trial for “High Treason” on the 29th June 1916. Roger David Casement (Irish: RuairĂ Mac Easmainn; 1 September 1864 — 3 August 1916), (Sir Roger Casement CMG between 1911 and his execution for treason in August 1916, when he was stripped of his British honours),was an Irish patriot, poet, revolutionary and nationalist. He was a British consul by profession, famous for his reports and activities against human rights abuses in the Congo and Peru, but better known for his dealings with Germany before Ireland’s Easter Rising in 1916. An Irish nationalist and Parnellite in his youth, he worked in Africa for commercial interests and latterly in the service of Britain. However, the Boer War and his consular investigation into atrocities in the Congo led Casement to anti-Imperialist and ultimately Irish Republican and separatist political opinions. Casement was born near Dublin, living in very early childhood at Doyle’s Cottage, Lawson Terrace, Sandycove His Protestant father, Captain Roger Casement of (The King’s Own) Regiment of Light Dragoons, was the son of a bankrupt Belfast shipping merchant (Hugh Casement) who later moved to Australia. Captain Casement served in the 1842 Afghan campaign. Casement’s mother Anne Jephson of Dublin (whose origins are obscure) had him rebaptised secretly as a Roman …
Heres a virtual movie of the great American poetesss Emily Dickinson (1830 – 1886) reading her poem numbered 1760 “Elysium is as far as to” The manuscript of this poem can be dated to around 1858. In Greek Mythology, Elysium is the home of the blessed in the afterlife Originally in Greek mythology, beautiful meadows or plains, or islands of the blest, located in the far west by the banks of Ocean. There certain heroes of the fourth race who never experienced death were said to dwell in perfect happiness ruled by Rhadamanthus. The titans after being reconciled with Zeus also lived there under the rule of Kronos. Pindar holds that all who have passed blamelessly through life three times live there in bliss. … Emily Elizabeth Dickinson (December 10, 1830 — May 15, 1886) was an American poet. Born in Amherst, Massachusetts, to a successful family with strong community ties, she lived a mostly introverted and reclusive life. After she studied at the Amherst Academy for seven years in her youth, she spent a short time at Mount Holyoke Female Seminary before returning to her family’s house in Amherst. Thought of as an eccentric by the locals, she became known for her penchant for white clothing and her reluctance to greet guests or, later in life, even leave her room. Most of her friendships were therefore carried out by correspondence. Although Dickinson was a prolific private poet, fewer than a dozen of her nearly eighteen hundred poems were published during her lifetime.[2 …

Silhouette animation by Lotte Reiniger, with English narration. Sorry, I had to cut out the first shot to fit under 10 minutes (Jack’s mother tells him to sell their pig at market). I also had to trim off the end a bit. Enjoy!
My submission for my 3D Animation course. Follows a small robot named “Min Yon” through his exploration of unknown surroundings. Using raytracing for the shadows results in some texture flickering in some scenes and I didn’t have enough time to fix this. Video Rating: 0 / 5
Download Link www.megaupload.com I’d like to start off with an incredibly massive thanks to SephirothDB or his youtube persona, Dobukera. Without his fantastic models, this project would not have progressed as far as it did. This will probably be my last video upload for a long, long time. This is a project I started over a year ago, the goal was to remake the last zone from Sonic & Knuckles as a 3D animation. I wanted to add additional story points at the beginning and end to compliment the existing canon of the game. This is evidenced by my little additive prologue where Sonic finds the emeralds in space. I had planned to have a sky-diving sequence where Sonic loses his power at the end, and dives after the falling master emerald with Tails picking both of them up in the nick of time. I would have shown them flying to the floating island, dropping off the emerald and roll the credits with them flying off just as the game did it. The plan was to finish. So why didn’t I finish? I got burnt out. Animation is a tough craft. It’s especially tough when you’re not sure of your own abilities. Slap that on top of having a full time animation job at the time, and it’s a nightmare having the will to make time for this. You spend all your day on Autodesk Maya, the last thing you want to do when you come home is load up Maya again. I’m releasing this now because I think things have really changed for me. I’ve moved away from my animation job, and got a new job working at BioWare … Video Rating: 4 / 5
