HTC One A9 launches with 13MP and OIS

HTC has today announced its newest member of the One smartphone family, the One A9, which slots into the HTC device line-up just under the flagship One M9. In the camera department the new model comes with a lower 13MP sensor resolution than the M9 with its 20MP chip, but on the plus side offers a slightly faster F2.0 aperture and an optical image stabilization system which could easily make it the better option in low light. Lomography launches Lomo’instant Wide camera

Lomography has introduced the Lomo’instant Wide camera. Using Fujifilm Instax Wide film, the camera offers a 35mm equivalent lens and Auto, Bulb, and 1/30sec Fixed Shutter Speed modes. Features cater to those who want to take a little more control over their instant prints, including a multi-exposure button and a lens cap that functions as a shutter remote control. Manfrotto launches Pixi Evo mini tripods for DSLRs

Adobe launches Photoshop Fix, desktop and mobile app updates

Adobe has officially launched Photoshop Fix, a mobile app it demoed at Apple’s iPad Pro launch in early September. Available today for iPad and iPhone, Photoshop Fix brings tools like the healing brush and liquify to mobile devices along with adjustments like paint and defocus. Read more

Facebook launches 360-degree video

Phottix launches Laso Transmitter and Receiver for Canon flashes

Phottix has launched its Laso Flash Trigger System today for the Canon RT Wireless radio flash system and the camera maker’s non-radio E-TTL flashes. To the skies! DJI launches Zenmuse X5 and X5R 4K Micro Four Thirds aerial cameras

Drone maker DJI has announced a pair of Micro Four Thirds aerial cameras including a model that can shoot lossless 4K Raw footage. The Zenmuse X5 and X5R are built around 16MP Four Thirds sensors, are compatible with a handful of small Micro Four Thirds lenses and can be flown on the company’s Inspire 1 drones. Read more
