Every time we survey our readers about their photography the #1 thing that they tell us that they are pointing their cameras at is… PEOPLE.
So today in our 12 Days of Christmas we decided to put together a bundle of 3 eBooks to help you perfect your portraiture.
1. The Essential Guide to Portrait Photography – struggling to take portraits with that WOW factor?
This ebook will help you achieve your true potential as a portrait photographer (learn more about it here).
2. The Art of Self Portraiture – Self Portraiture is something that many artistic greats have engaged in both as a way of honing their craft but also as a way of expressing themselves.
Self-Portraiture in photography can similarly help improve your photographic technique as well as give you a way to show off who you really are (learn more about it here).
3. Click: How to Take Gorgeous Photos of Your Kids – Kids are one of the most photographed subjects by users of digital cameras – however they’re also one of the most challenging.
Click! is an eBook all about empowering parents, grandparents and others with kids in their lives to take kid portraits that are both beautiful and reflect the personalities of the children in the shots (learn more about it here).
These 3 eBooks normally retail for $ 70 but today we’re offering them for just $ 19 – that’s 73% off (our biggest discount of the whole 12 days). You can order your bundle of 3 Portrait eBooks here – for 24 hours only.

Riesige 46 (in Worten: sechsundvierzig!) Und zwar in drei Schichten, also alle RGB-Grundfarben in jedem einzelnen Pixel.

I was originally working on some footage for a new time lapse video, but due to time constrains and weather I wasn’t able to complete the video on time. However, using some of my old footage i decided to mix things up a bit and make star trail time lapses out of it. (there is also some new footage in here as well) to get this effect I added the “trails” filter in Final Cut Pro 7. This video took well over 30hrs to edit, render and export, Even with my Quad-Core i7 iMac!!! All the clips shown here were shot between October 2010 and November 2011. Camera: Canon EOS 5D MK II Lens’: Canon 15mm f2.8 fisheye, Canon 16-35mm L F2.8 II, Tokina 16-28mm f2.8. 30 second exposures, ISO 3200, White Balance: 3500-4500K Music: “Sliver Of Evidence” Simon Wilkinson www.thebluemask.com Thanks For Watching!!!! "In the grand tradition of generals and surrealists, we have been playing games. People learn things better through the open-ended, empathetic participation in knowledge-making that games allow. Just dispensing information to people– though at times enlightening– can also encourage apathy or forgetfulness. Lately, we have been using games to critically examine the dynamics and assumptions of larger social givens. Our new game SET was inspired by toy collectors, tourists, and museum curators. Throughout the game, players "play" by intervening and reorganizing existing groups of objects, thus questioning categories by constructing and redrawing them. In foregrounding the player’s relation to the categories, SET explores the value of one’s authorship in the production of knowledge. While games often risk normalizing power relationships by setting social roles and rules in stone, we have tried here to do just the opposite."
