Same elecTRONica dancer at California Adventure, different platform, different night. This was shot with my Fuji W3 and edited in Sony Vegas Pro 10. The new version of Sony Vegas has native support of 3D videos. I no longer have to split the 3D-AVI file before opening the 3D video in Vegas. Auto correct is awesome! No more masking alignment corrections. Video is cropped to full frame. Workflow is streamlined. I will upgrade to the new version before my 30 day trial expires.

Dpreview product database now mobile

We’ve made our product database available on the mobile version of the site. The addition of the products section (searchable by product name, browsable by brand and product type), is another step towards making the entire site available on-the-go. Our database currently includes cameras, lenses and printers and is probably the most comprehensive on the web. As before, there are small links at the bottom of every page to swap between the mobile and desktop versions.

Springtime in the Poudre River Canyon – Floating over Maddog Rapid

It feels like springtime in Fort Collins, but it’s not the spring in the Cache la Poudre River Canyon yet. I shot these pictures of whitewater rafters and kayakers floating over the Maddog rapid early June last year. I was biking with my camera along the popular Fillter Plant run. Camera: Canon EOD 5D Mark II with EF 24-105mm lens.
I was contemplating to run that river section in my packraft and use a bike as shuttle, but didn’t manage it last last. My packrafting and biking adventures were limited to the South Platte River.
