“BREATHE” 3D version

02 Aug

To watch this video as it’s unintended to be seen you will need to have a pair of 3D glasses. To learn more about watching youtube videos in 3D please check out the help section. This video has been uploaded before in 2D. Because the elements where put together in a After Effects 3D space adding a second camera to get a 3D rendering was possible. I’m not sure if it is an effect that’s worth work for my style of animation – but I thought I would play around with it. If you don’t have 3D glasses you can still watch the video in 2D format.

Download: dl.dropbox.com (192 MB) Requirments: Windows operating system current DirectX9 (you can download it here: www.microsoft.com ) Graphics card supporting shader 3.0 more thán 300 MB VRAM (it should theoretically run slower on 256MB cards or lower too, using normal RAM as VRAM) Above mentioned download is 192 MB, full quality. Here is a very low quality slowly-loading download, but only 12 MB: dl.dropbox.com Controls: P – position mode R – perspective mode F – focus mode S – stereoscopic mode Q – focus quality left mouse bottom – move/zoom/focus middle mouse bottom – make screenshot to scrn.png mouse wheel – stereoscopic depth If you have any questions or problems, send me a message. I hope you will like it 🙂 By the way, high end graphics cards surely have some better fillrates than my 8800GT… Maybe they can focus with good framerates at the highest quality. Use fraps or something and tell me! 🙂 Some links: Game Maker: www.yoyogames.com Lego Mindstorms: mindstorms.lego.com Bricx Command Center bricxcc.sourceforge.net Microsoft Visual Studio Express: www.microsoft.com DirectX SDK: www.microsoft.com OpenCV: opencv.willowgarage.com Photo to 3D: www.photo-to-3d.com

Frequency Separation Technique

01 Aug

I uploaded this video by request from users on the www.ModelMayhem.com community to show how to do a frequency separation on an image in this sample I show a brief display on how it can be used to smooth skin or remove blemishes but this technique can be used for multiple things, such as contrast, sharpening, adding texture etc. I want to repeat that the Image I’m working on is 8 bit if you want to use this technique on a 16 bit image the settings will be different on the apply image box but the steps will remain the same. I hope you enjoy it. 🙂 16 bit settings & 8 bit settings below www.modelmayhem.com For a modern and affordable portfolio website go to 4ormat.com Use promo code 74383df0b4
