Anaglyph 3D glasses needed- red/cyan lense www.youtube.com/user/TranceDance3D
Video Rating: 4 / 5

Note: This is a fully rendered 3D home video, and does not use YouTube’s real time filter. This was a permanent filter on this video before uploading to YouTube. This is also a demo to test out Sonny Vegas Pro 10, and it’s 3D editing capabilities. The unfiltered video can be found here for use with more 3D viewing options: : www.youtube.com Note: You will need Green/Magenta anaglyph glasses to watch this in 3D. They can be found cheaply online – or in my case taken from the Blu-Ray version of “Monster’s Vs. Aliens” (NORMAL blu-ray, NOT 3D Blu-Ray). Due to this being native 3D, there is more cross talk than normal as the video apparently had a slight shift in color upon processing, and is not the fault of the camera itself.

Nikon D7000 Movie Mode Settings Explained

02 Aug

Looking for more info about Nikon’s movie settings for shooting video? Check out this quick video about what the user manual doesn’t explain. I received a comment on my previous D7000 video that you can change the aperture using the dials on the camera, while in Live View mode. The comment made me think some might be confused about recording in Live View in general, as the D7000 doesn’t presently allow you to change the aperture in Live View while using the dials. So I put this video together to show you how shooting with manual movie settings on is different than shooting with manual movie settings off. Stay tuned for my next video on video lens suggestions.

Fast, Light, Sharp and Cheap – The Canon 50mm f/1.8 EF II Lens

02 Aug

www.robnunnphoto.com The EF 50mm f belongs in the camera bag of every Canon photographer – it’s Canon’s cheapest lens, yet this great little prime offers sharp images, great low-light capability and fantastic selective focus options. The 50mm is more like the 35mm equivalent of an 80mm on a crop sensor camera, it’s slightly telephoto, so you’ll find yourself moving back a little if you’re into landscapes – but it’s a great portrait focal length. Build quality isn’t the best – but what do you expect for £100? Get one, stick it on your camera and have some fun. Cheers, Rob. Oh, and did I mention it’s cheap? 😉
