photographyequipment.yolasite.com (Budget Equipment) razzi.me www.facebook.com twitter.com In this video I compare the two most popular types of umbrellas, shoot through and reflective umbrella. Shoot through umbrellas are translucent which allows the light to pass. They give you more wrap around light in your portraits. With reflective umbrella, it’s still wrap around light BUT it becomes a bit directional and may cast a little bit of shadow compared to shoot through. Which umbrella should you choose? Well, they are so cheap that everyone who does studio portraits or outdoor strobist photography should simply own both. Equipment used in the video. DSLR: Nikon D3s and Nikon D700 Lens: Nikkor 70-200 f2.8 VRII and Nikon 50mm 1.8G AFS lens Umbrellas – Lastolite trifold umbrella and cowboy studio reflective umbrella

Battery Grip Installation for Nikon D40 (LinkDelightOz)

15 Dec

Follow Me: www.flickr.com.au ~~~~~ Hi everyone! This is my first video, and a look at a 3rd party battery grip for the Nikon D40/x. The one in the video was purchased from Ebay seller LinkDelightOz for around AUD, which I felt was an excellent price for the product. You can usually also add a few extra dollars and they will send you an extra battery, which I didn’t do because I prefer genuine Nikon batteries, and you can also get a battery grip with an LCD screen if you want to pay twice as much. I would’ve taken that option if I had the money. Hope you enjoy the vid! Matt (and his Nikon, of course!) PS Search “Nikon D40 Battery Grip” On Ebay and you should find the seller, amongst many others. There is a new model grip out and I’ve no idea what it’s like.

Bower 650-1300mm f/8-16- Review- Part 1. [HD]

15 Dec

Part 2- Here: www.youtube.com Hello, Today I am going to be reviewing the Bower 650-1300mm f/8-16 Super-Telephoto Lens with a Nikon T-Mount Adapter on it. The Bower is a great lens for the price. I wouldn’t suggest this lens for your main Super-Telephoto Shooting Lens. If you want A LOT of zoom for under 0 dollars then this is that lens. The Bower 650-1300mm f/8-16 has OK quality when focused correctly and given a lot of light! The Bower is a heavy lens and I suggest either a Tripod or Monopod if you’re going to be shooting for over an-hour-and-a-half.
