Built as a companion to Apple mobile devices, it connects directly via integrated Lightning connector to bring your iPhone a 20MP 1″-type sensor and 32mm equivalent F1.8 lens. We put its standard shooting mode as well as its SuperRAW mode up against our studio test scene. Return of the Super Rebel: Canon EOS Rebel T6s (760D) in-depth review

Canon’s EOS Rebel T6s (760D) is easily the most advanced model yet to enter the company’s beginner-friendly DSLR lineup. It offers a new 24.2MP sensor and improved AF and metering systems compared to its predecessor. Its top plate LCD display, quick control dial and continuous AF in live view elevate it above its near-twin, the T6i, while Wi-Fi/NFC round out a solid set of features. Tamron announced the SP 150-600mm F5-6.3 Di VC USD at the end of 2013, and as one of the cheapest ways to reach past a 400mm focal length, it quickly became popular with amateur wildlife and sports photographers. Apple patent hints at super resolution camera mode

Olympus and Pentax have introduced cameras with sensor-shift-driven resolution modes designed to maximize the amount of information collected by their sensors. Apple has also patented a similar system, using an optical image stabilization system to create and combine multiple exposures into a higher resolution image. Read more

Olympus brings Stylus 1s enthusiast super zoom to the US

Olympus has announced the Stylus 1s in the US, a camera it had previously announced in Japan last year. This enthusiast compact features much of the same hardware as its predecessor, the Olympus Stylus 1, including a 12MP 1/1.7″ BSI CMOS sensor, 28-300mm equivalent F2.8 lens, and integrated Wi-Fi. Added features include a redesigned grip, higher-capacity BLS-50 battery, Small AF target mode, and Step Zoom with nine preset zoom positions. Read more
