CINEMA 4D Studio Release 13 is sure to revolutionize your character animation workflow. The new Character Object allows you to quickly rig characters based on pre-built templates. CMotion generates procedural animation, based on the relationship between objects and individual cyclic actions that can be customized via a spline graph. An all-new Muscles system allows you to pin muscle objects to multiple joints or objects, and deform the mesh as the distance between the objects changes. The Visual Selector has been completely redesigned, and now allows multiple tabbed views within a single tag. www.cineversity.com Note CINEMA 4D R13 is due to ship in September. Improve your photos with two simple rules

No matter how simple or sophisticated your camera, you can improve your photos by applying two simple rules: Rule of Thirds and Lead-in Line. I made this video for my Post-Graduate Certificate in E-Learning Design, and I hope to have a link to it from my camera club (The Brighton & Hove Camera Club). Watch the video, then get out with your camera and take lots of shots to assess and critique – it’s the only way to improve!

A Simple Bath

26 Aug

In a way I think all of us put on a bit of a disguise, everyday, and nobody more so than young women. Makeup to bras to hair straighteners girls become someone that looks as least like their regular selves as possible. Somehow our culture sends girls a message that it’s not ok to be themselves. I think we should change that.

The Bathroom is the scene of the crime. I like shooting girls there, it always feels just a tad more honest. A tad more… scary.

It’s scary being yourself.

Model is Maloree Johnson

Simple Photoshop Makeover of Avril Lavigne

28 May

Hit that yellow button up there and I’ll love you forever ^^ **I DO NOT OWN MUSIC** I found this picture on www.sweetandtalented.com (great place for celeb pictures) and I decided to photoshop it. There wasn’t much I could do, considering Avril is already really pretty and she was already photoshopped anyway (most celeb pics are, you can never find the raw files), so I just did what I could and that was that. My photoshop was going really slow and I was worried it might come out slow, but thankfully it didn’t. I did this in Adobe Photoshop CS4, used Hypercam2 to record it and Windows Movie Maker for editing. Any other questions just hit me with a comment. Music is “I Can Do Better” by Avril Lavigne. If you’re gonna criticise, make it constructive. Comment/Rate/Fave/Sub (:
