We look at using the histogram and the curves tool to correct exposure and contrast to give photos more vibrant colour and ‘pop. This tutorial uses Lightroom 2 as the demonstration tool but the concepts are applicable to many of the advanced photography manipulation software such as Aperture and Photoshop Elements or CS.
