3D Waltz of the Flowers (YouTube 3D HD Test)

Original file : 1280×1440 Over/Under 10Mbps wmv Test using 3d video in Over/Under format with yt3d:left/right tags. To view this video in 3D, select viewing style first from 12 option of drop down list box named “3D View Style”, Red/cyan, amber/blue etc. requires 3D glasses. Some other options, parallel and cross etc. doesn’t require any glasses. No viewing style with polarization type glasses like Real D is supported by YouTube 3D so far. 3D view style drop down menu may not appear unless using latest browser and player plug in. YouTube 3D HD playback : www.youtube.com I found 1280×960 Over/Under file for uploading is the best video quality after YouTube re-encoding.

The Tokina 11-16mm f/2.8 lens if often recommended for crop sensor cameras. But I’ve had a hard time finding video footage of the lens in use. So Along with a short review I’ve taken the time to demonstrate the Tokina 11-16 in video mode on my canon 7d. Equipment used: Canon 7d, Sigma 24 1.8, tokina 11-16, and zoom h4n

Nikon D3100 Video Test

A video test for my Nikon D3100 DSLR camera. (and also testing out my new 50mm lens :p ) Nikon D3100 is an entry-level DSLR camera that support full HD 1080p video mode at 24 fps. And maximum 30 fps at 720p resolution. So, I am using a 50mm F 1.8 Nikkor Lens. Just Posted: Studio test images from the Pentax K-5 II and its low-pass-filter-free sister model, the K-5 IIs. We’ve shot studio test samples with Pentax’s latest 16MP DSLRs. Not only does this mean you can see the differences between the K-5 II and the ‘s’ variant but it allows you to compare them with the original K-5 or almost every camera we’ve tested in recent years. It also means you can download the Raw files from either camera to process to your own tastes.

canon EOS 60D h4n test of mic recording options

09 Nov

A test of recording audio onto a Canon 60D using the H4n to provide XLR inputs, phantom power and level adjustments, which is then compared with straight recording onto the H4n. I have used the method described by John Veleta at cinesmarts.wordpress.com It seems fairly similar to my ears…and would avoid having to sync in post…seems like a great option. Thanks John!
