Canon EOS 600D EF 50MM F/1.4USM Cinematic Look

First look at Lenovo’s 5.5″ K900 smartphone with 2Ghz Intel processor

Lenovo might not be the first name that springs to mind when you think of smartphones but the Chinese company is one of the biggest sellers in its home market. Its latest offering is the K900 – a 5.5″ smartphone – slightly larger than the three we detailed yesterday but with the same 1920 x 1080 pixel count to give a resolution of 400ppi. It also features a 13MP Sony Exmor RS (stacked CMOS) sensor behind a 22.4mm equivalent F1.8 lens. Click here to find out more.

My Nicole Richie Cover Look

Watch this video on my site for product links, tips and more info: www.lisae.me.uk This make-up look I did on Nicole Richie for the cover of UK InStyle (shot by photographer extraordinaire Lee Broomfield) has been hugely requested since I put the shots on my blog last week. It’s a strong Autumnal look with fierce eye make-up that I thought worked really well on Nicole’s big eyes. My eyes are a completely different shape to Nicole’s but hopefully this tutorial demonstrates how the eye-make can be adapted to suit different eye shapes. The plum colour and glittery-ness of the look increases with flash photography. Have fun! x

Photoshop CS5 Tutorial How to make a Picture look Old Fashioned

Hey guys! Thanks for watching this basic Photoshop CS5 Extended tutorial on how to do a bit of color effects on an image. Leave a comment on anymore tutorials you’d like me to do in either Lightroom 3, Photoshop CS5, of After Effects CS5. By the way in case any of you were wondering, this was shot with a Canon 7D at: f/2.2, ISO-100, 1/200th shutter speed, and shot with a 50mm f/1.8 prime lens at 18mp (3456 X 5184). EXCELLENT lens, SUPER sharp and it’s high enough quality where you can actually max out the 7D’s full 18mp with NO grain, buy that lens if you don’t have it already, it’s only 0 new.
