Just bought this lens at best buy for 9.99 Going over the Nikon Nikkor 50mm f/1.8 D AF lens. This lens has excellent depth of field control and is a must have for all photographers. The lens is very cheap but is built great and takes amazing photographs. It is light weight, has a very high maximum aperture focuses quickly and has a very fast shutter. The lens is prime so there is no zoom but there are two rings for control of the aperture and manual focus

GH1 w/ Nikkor 50mm Prime Low Light and Outdoor Night Tests

All audio captured by GH1 internal stereo mic. All shot with the Nikkor 50mm prime on the GH1 in FHD 1080p (mostly ISO 1600, Shutter Speed 1/60) The darkest sections of all the out door shots are disgusting, it could be my cameras settings but as far as I know the GH1 just can’t handle really low lit situations.

My af-s nikkor 18-55mm 1:35.5-5.6GII ED lens keeps jumping and clicking half way through its focusing cycle. i definatly doesn’t sound healthy but it doesnt seem to be affecting the cameras autofocus. I just would like to know if this could get worse over time/use. www.myspace.com/bite_photography

Nikon D90 with AF Nikkor 50mm 1.8 D

This is my first uploaded video mode for Nikon D90 with AF Nikkor 50mm 1.8 D lens. I set the aperture to f1.8 to get the blurry background (bokeh). A very reliable video cam at dslr. The video mode configured with 1280×720 16:9. White balance to tungsten at A6.

Brevis + Dvx100b @ 24p w/ lensbaby 2G & nikkor 50mm

Some test footage I edited together from my new camera ( panasonic DVX100b ) and my new adapter that I recently bought ( Brevis35 ). I am excited about all the cool stuff I will be able to do with it, It looks great so far. I used a Lensbaby 2G for most of the indoor stuff and a 50mm and a 105mm for most of the outdoor stuff. It was nicely edited to a song that worked really well, but it got taken down for copyright violation. so i had to switch it. nilz.tv

Nikon D90 SRL Video Test + Nikkor 50mm f/1.8D Lens

Our first shots with Nikon`s D90 HD 720p camera, a lot of family shots. All Footage was edited natively in Sony Vegas Pro 9 by creating a custom 1280×720 24fps session. NO COLOR CORRECTION, And again all footage is from Lima-Peru
