The eason for the vibrations is because the engine is reving and the up-down motion is a vibration.

Generally speaking, higher air pressure in the tires for greater fuel economy. Lower air pressure for off roading / smoother ride. Not too too low as rims are expensive to replace, but 5 psi below specs, might be just enough. 10psi lawn mower. 15psi to counter sea level air. 80 psi for high speed street bicycles. Car tires normally in 32psi to 44psi range. Most cigarette lighter pumps top at 30psi. Foot pump bicycle pump in my car at all times, topping at > 50psi. Spares go flat too.

I haven’t read all the comments, so someone may have already suggested this for you to try. I noticed when you attached the camera to the windshield that the straps had only one twist or maybe half a twist on the driver side. When a ribbon is tight and in a strong wind it tends to vibrate a lot. You might try making at least two full twists in the strap on both sides of the camera. I hope that helps if you decide to try it. Thanks for all the videos.

Thanks for the quick replay. I’m going to try it and I’ll let you know how it does! 😉

I can’t say, since I’ve never tried it. Do so at your own risk. Make sure the safety strap is in place if you’re feeling brave.

How do you think this rig will hold up while driving on the expressway at high speeds and what modifications would you make if any to record at high rate of speeds?

love the new intro music! and just love the channel in general. you can buy these really good cheap suction mounts from china on eBay. i got one they are really strong, and only cost around €5. (Search: CAR, SUCTION, MOUNT in the photography category)
I think ill use that ratchet clamp idea in the future tho

Why not install the camera inside the glass instead of outside? you not need a polarized filter and a fixing belt 😉

Well or i’m a gifted player or it just isn’t that hard because I played songs on the same difficulty level as this jam (same kind of techniques and licks etc.) a year ago. I’ve been playing guitar for around 10-30 min every day I think since I got my guitar and I think that anyone who has a bit of talent and plays regularly could play things like this.
It’s more that I suck at improvising original things xD

stupid to say someone who’s been playing 2 years could play this… maybe an extremely gifted player but this is not something someone only 2 years in could play. maybe they could hit some of these notes but not in time and not without hitting wrong notes simultaneously. he makes this look easy, it isn’t

improvisation is the talent.. playing guitar fast and technical is not talent. is just hard work.. so maybe you miss the talent or u dont have something like a girl or a person or a nice songwirter to give you the inspiration,so you can make your own music!! just my opinion..
Dvermoet
January 3, 2013 at 5:49 pm
Yea I know it’s not hard, I can play the things he can but it’s just that I can’t think of parts of music that sound good together like an improvisation as this one (: You’re right anyone that plays around 2 years should be able to do things like this (:
Anestis Ni
January 3, 2013 at 5:51 pm
he is not playing anything special or difficult.i mean u cant do this even if u are playing guitar only 2 years. so try it.. (no offence to anyone) nice vid 😉
