Damu’s drums always sound so FAT… even if I chop the same break my isht isn’t half as crunchy. Plus his patterns are ridiculous. One of the illest no doubt about it.
Pure inspiration right here…
inspiring!
u’r a good man!!!!
Got some wisdom from this dude
much respect!!
Can I use your penguin break?
One of the sickest musicians out there! Much luv from israel!
stay squeezin that volume knob like a nipple
what is the beat at 7;20??
the outro beat??
man you make me want to leave work and go digging….like, right now!
mad respect!!
no, that beat is just ridiculous 🙂
its the open hat
Does anyone know that joint around 3:32 ? so damn smooth… or is it one he hasnt released
or an example of a cognitive bias where what you can’t have is always better than what’s available to you.
good strike
This is tight yo, my beatmaking process is very similar, i use the mpc500 and the mpc60, i love that signature mpc sound!
MAN that last beat that ended the vid is an instant head nodder
this video is a perfect example of how a producers best beats are always the ones you dont find on any album – theyre on a floopy disc or a computer or a hardrive somewhere just fucking waiting
So…
Did Damu ever release the joint at the end using the Chains and Things sample????
If you are willing to spend 5 seconds listening to some of the beats on my channel you would be doing three norwegian beatmakers a huge favor. Thank you for your attention and sorry for the spam.
fuuk
i love how he shows his 2 megabytes
master
Do you use masks rather than deleting to transparent in case you want to change the mask at a later time, while deleting will cause those pixels to be lost permanently?
It’s because if the frame shifts from one image to the next, when overlapping the layers there can be an obvious discrepancy at the visible boundary between on layer and the next. If everything is perfectly aligned then for any fixed object it won’t matter which parts are being made visible from which layer.
select>modify>expand>1 px
that just changed my life haha. Thanks man! Love the videos.
at 05:49, you didn’t mask the picture properly (see two big peeks right of the masked layer at 5.49) it came on the leg of the second girl from right..
Thanks for adding the bit about how to import them as a layer. I had been opening several individual images and then copying and pasting over each image. Importing to ‘Edit In Layers’ is much simpler!
Finished version? You forgot the legs on the second right girl… Or does she have holes in her legs? 😉
Because you need to maintain the same position through the entire shoot, else you would have alot of work in Photoshop to stick the images together
Yeah… the mic is picking up Marks heartbeats:)
would have been nicer if she has different wardrobe on the pants
why is it soooo important to keep the camera extremely still with the shutter not being low? isn’t a weight bag overkill?
Can you do a a Q&A on Perfect Layers also. I dont use PS, but just wanted to see if you could answer that question in a simliar format to your PS vs LR video.
thanks!!!!
At first I thought this episode was about composting. Do you use worms?
Oh, i thought this will be about composition.
great episode, great show. so who’s the doosh that disliked it?
This is sooo awesome! Takes so much time to do though =[
