Great video. As a new guy to this, I do more in LightRoom to adjust/correct exposure…and shoot everything in RAW to help with that

try to study the exposure triangle first so you could be able to adjust your settings time to time….

Oh and I had the dial to no flash, I haven’t been able to remember the manual stuff yet and we were loosing daylight fast so I couldn’t really sit back and fiddle with things to see what’s what.

Hey I have a Nikon D3100 beginner photographer trying to teach myself and watch your videos, but I was wondering, I just took outdoor bridal pictures of my sister and parts of her dress are SO white no folding or detail is showing up. Its was an overcast day I wasn’t using the flash cuz when I did it would make everything darker, I was using a 55mm-200mm lens. I’m frustrated cuz it was a beautiful fall shoot in the mountains but her dress in the pictures look like she’s 2D sheet of white. 🙁

A part of me feels like EC is almost pointless when you can change the settings for your exposure on your own in a couple of different ways and still achieve the same desired result.

I watched the whole video in confusion to what EC is, that right at the last second he said, EC is the same as changing shutter or aperture in manual mode.

Hi… How come if I get the right exposure… when I dial my exposure compensation up (+) the light meter in my camera goes down (-) is that normal?

well yes and no, if your pictures are overexposed, you can either under expose your metering to the negative side. Also you can change your exposure to go over or under by changing your aperature or shutter speed as the video indicated. I hope this helps

This is bet complicated to me. When I have an overexposed picture, I just bump up the shutter speed. Hmmm

Every time I watch this, it helps me develope the bigger picture of live. It’s not about jobs, money, and everthing modern society has taught us to think. It’s about our world, and the universe. How little of a roll we really play. This video simply leaves me without words to express how truly awesome life really is.

Everytime i need to relax now I know what to do. People should stop moving so fast and stop a while, looking outside and breathing the air nature gives us. Nature is the most beautiful thing on earth.
