will this lense AF with a d5000?
@janar17
You don’t NEED the reverse ring, you can hold the front element of the lens toward the camera body and it will work. However, for convenience, I’d get the ring just so you have the ability to use both hands to shoot, and to absolutely eliminate light leaks, although because light doesn’t bend around corners, you shouldn’t have them anyway. Also, the ring will allow you to focus to different distances.
Hello I believe the song is called “The Winner is” by my Michael Danna 🙂
There’s no 35mm adapter. It’s just the 50mm lens reversed and put up against the HV20. I just used tape to hold it together. Very primitive.
wait do you use a 35 mm adapter and then a 50 mm lens or just a 50 mm reverser ring and then a f.1.8D on the ring? explain please! this footage is to die for
what’s name of that music?
i can put the Nikon 50mm f1.8D just on the camera lens? or reverse ring and then i put the nikon lens to connect that? or some adapter needed in between?
Oh nevermind.
The link didn’t work, so I’ll ask:
IF you put the reverser ring on the 50mm, it will allow you to to these extreme minimum focus distances?
well, a 5d MKII comes with a 24-105 L kit lens and im not usre thats crap, but im sure u mean in general
I have been very happy with the Sigma 70-200mm, I dont have any experience with the Tamron, I have read that this lens is supposed to be a faster focusing lens.
This or the Tamron 70-200 2.8?
Guys Glass is a million times more important then the body. You will get better pics with a crap body and pro lens, then a pro body and kit lens.
Chris your right d7000 is the way to go……….Thanx
A D7000 can be better than a D300s! Choose your camera wisely! 🙂
Just ordered one for my d-80! can’t wait……..D-300 next year I hope.
Good video.
Thanks for the video!
Hopefully getting this lens for christmas!
