I been waiting to do this video review of this SB-700 speedlight, but I could just never get the words out of my mouth right.. so I decided to make a notes so in case if I got lost I can refer to my notes to keep the video going. I admit, it isn’t the best and I yes I did use some of that too. You have no idea how hard I’ve tried to record this. I’m not the greatest at these kind of things. Thanks for your comment.

Thank You! There is a battery meter, but it doesn’t show until the batter gets low. Which does kind of suck because I would like to know where the charge is at. But as long as you charge the batteries every once in a while..good rechargeable will hold a charge for a long time. Also turn the flash on and cycle the flash to clear the capacitors when you haven’t used it for a while.

I very so did consider the SB-900 and it wasn’t too much more but I guess the menus and stuff was a bit confusing at least until the SB-910 came out. I never used a external flash before and thats why I bought the SB-700 cause its sort of for newbies in flash photography.. very easy to use. However, I’d love to get my hands on a SB-910 someday. Thanks for your comment!

Good review. Question: Did you consider the SB-900 aswell? Why did you pick the 700?
