Stock photo agency Alamy to allow mobile photos

Recalling its previous blanket ban against all mobile photography, international stock photo agency Alamy has announced that it will now allow images taken on mobile devices in its Live News service. To be accepted into Live News, Alamy has stated that smartphone images must have news, sports or entertainment value. And in case you were wondering, ‘Instagram-style filters’ are not allowed. Baja 5B SS – Sand Dune Racing: Modified + Stock, BinAdhed.com, ArabRC.com

This video has been taken on the 6th of March 2009 in the last meeting of Forum members at ArabRC.com. A combination of Modified Baja’s & Stock ones racing against the uphill dune. This Video has been taken using a Nikon D90 with a Nikkor 18-105mm f4-5.6 Lens and Edited using software : Sony Vegas 8 Pro.

Tokyo Stock Exchange places Olympus shares ‘under supervision’

Olympus’s woes have deepened after the Tokyo Stock Exchange placed its shares ‘under supervision’ and warned of possible delisting. The news follows the admission that senior executives colluded for decades to hide investment losses from the market, and a subsequent statement from Olympus that it would not be able to submit its quarterly earnings report on schedule. The TSE has warned that the company will be delisted if the report is not submitted by 14th December, prompting a further fall in its shares which have now lost almost two-thirds of their value over the past month.
