Just Posted: Sony E-mount 10-18mm F4, 35mm F1.8 and 16-50mm F3.5-5.6 Power Zoom lens samples on the NEX-6. Our last set of images from the Sony press trip is a series shot with the latest NEX camera and the three E-mount lenses announced at Photokina – the E 10-18mm F4 OSS super-wide-angle zoom, the E 35mm F1.8 OSS fast normal prime, and the E 16-50mm F3.5-5.6 PZ OSS power zoom. We’ve selected ten images shot with each lens and compiled a combined gallery. Full-size images are, as ever, available for download.

8 October, 2012 – Sony Alpha A99 Field Test Report

This year the peak of Fall colour in Algonquin Park coincided with the arrival of a production Sony Alpha A99 camera for testing. I was able to spend several days working with the A99 in a range of weather and light conditions, along with a wide selection of Zeiss and G series lenses.

My field test report is now online.

Just Posted: Our hands-on Sony Cyber-shot DSC-RX1 preview article with video preview. You may well have already heard about Sony’s full frame compact camera with a fixed 35mm F2 Carl Zeiss Sonnar T* lens. We’ve had a chance to play with a pre-production RX1, delve through the menus and discuss its technologies with Sony. We’ve prepared a four-page preview detailing the RX1’s features and capabilities and discussing whether we think the world is ready for a $ 2800 full frame, fixed-lens camera.

Update – i discover today 28 June 2012 , than Sony Bloggie 3D capture pictures in FULL Resolution 3D SBS 3840×1080 pixels ( 1920×1080 x 2 sbs ) , until now when i adjust bad parallax convergenge for each 3D picture with 3d video editor i re-save with only half resolution of original resolution . For example at place of 3840x1080p i saved in the past at only 1920x1080p , now i’m so happy with greatest resolution , the 3d pictures look more clear and crisp than never before , but YOUTUBE it didn’t support again FULL 3D Resolution (3840x1080p) only HALF 3D Resolution (1920x1080p) like this video here . – People with Gadmei 3D Free Glasses tablet’s (Gadmei T863-3D , Gadmei T883-3D , Gadmei E8-3D , Gadmei WikiPad-3D ) can watch all 3D FULL RESOLUTION 3840x1080p pictures with Android apk : “Stereoscope” found on Google Play or www.stereoscopie.fr – For watching 3D 1080p videos/movies i recommend VideoPlayer apk already pre-installed with all Gadmei 3D tablet’s because it know to read all 3D format’s available on the market today (3D SBS (the most popular format), 3D TOP-OVER , 3D Fiel Dept , 3D Half2Full , 3D Open Grating , etc ) all on 3D Free Glasses AMAZING !!! – 199$ SONY 3D Bloggie 1080p ( 2 x FULL HD 1920×1080 pixels 3D Camcorder – 2 lenses for the 2 eyes of humans vision perfect reproduction ) H.264 video codec Progressive Scan better than interlaced SONY 1500$ HDR -TD10 3D camcorder) – 2 Microphones for Stereo Sound Recording (for 2 ears of human perfect reproduction …

Sony NEX-VG10E Handycam Interchangeable Lens Digital HD Camcorder Unboxing & Review

Sony’s NEX-VG10 provides the options previously reserved for professional videographers to consumers. It is equipped with the same ExmorTM APS HD CMOS sensor used in Sony’s “NEX-5” and “NEX-3” digital cameras which is approximately 19.5 times bigger than what you would find in conventional camcorders. It has a powerful BIONZTM processor allowing photographers the ability to capture full 1920×1080/60i high definition video at up to 24Mbps for true cinematic Blu-ray quality. And most of you must ask that how much does it cost? I bought the Cam itself 00, the Video Light 0 & I also got a 16GB Memory Stick Pro Duo Mark 2 for 0 that records for 2 hours. In the latest of our collaborations with Jeff Keller of the Digital Camera Resource Page, we look at the Sony NEX-F3 – the company’s latest entry-level mirrorless camera. The F3 continues the lineage of the original NEX-3, including many of features of Sony’s more expensive models in a less expensive body. In the case of the F3 this means the latest 16MP APS-C sensor capable of up to 6 frames per second, plus Auto Portrait Framing mode, a built-in flash and an LCD that flips all the way up to aid self-portraiture. Richard Franiec creates accessory grip for Sony RX100

Accessory maker Richard Franiec has unveiled his design for a custom grip for the Sony RX100. As usual for one of Franiec’s grips, the anodized aluminium accessory is held in place with 3M VHB tape, which holds it firmly in place but can be removed, without damage, later. The design follows the pattern of his existing grips and doesn’t protrude beyond the camera’s retracted lens barrel, so that pocketability isn’t reduced. The grip will be available from August 2012 at a cost of $ 34.95, plus shipping.
