We’ve been toying around with Samsung’s WB2200F, which resembles a small Canon 1D X more than a superzoom, for several weeks. We picked out our favorite photos from this 60X zoom camera and have compiled them into a real-world samples gallery for your enjoyment. View photos

Fujifilm FinePix S1 real-world sample gallery posted
At 50X, the Fujifilm FinePix S1 may not have the longest lens in its class, but it is the only superzoom that’s weather-sealed and one of the very few with Raw support. Naturally, this means that we did some Raw conversions and shot in in the rain, and you can see the results in our samples gallery. View photos

The Fujifilm XF 16mm f/1.4 R WR is a weather-sealed prime, equivalent to a 24mm field of view on Fujifiilm’s X-mount cameras. With a close focus distance of just 0.15m/6in. and a fast F1.4 aperture, this lens is super versatile. In our sample testing we found it to be sharp, and to offer pleasing bokeh. Canon EOS Rebel T6s/T6i real-world sample galleries posted
Canon announced the EOS Rebel T6s and T6i (760D/750D) near-twins in February, and they’ve garnered plenty of attention since then. Canon PowerShot SX60 HS real-world sample gallery posted
Canon’s flagship superzoom is its PowerShot SX60 HS, which sports a 21-1365mm equivalent lens – not quite Coolpix P900 territory but still very impressive. It also features a fully articulating LCD, Wi-Fi with NFC, and 1080/60p video. We’ve spent some time shooting with the SX60 and have put together a gallery of rusting trucks, sunsets, snowy owls and even snowier mountains. See gallery

It also provides an F2.8 Leica-branded lens encircled by a control ring that can be used to adjust various exposure settings. We got out and about with it to see what its images look like. The latest from Lensbaby, the Velvet 56mm f/1.6, is designed to bring soft, dream-like effects to portraiture. It also provides a minimum focus distance of 5 inches for macro work. It’s by no means cheap for what it offers at $ 499.95, but for some photographers will offer the ability to capture soft focus effects in-camera rather than through processing. We took the Velvet 56 out for a spin. See gallery
