So we asked him … AND HE TOLD US!

It turns out he doesn’t use any fancy apps or software or even voodoo. He just uses Vine, his phone and know-how.

He was kind enough to share his know-how with us and you too!

Matt gave us step by step instructions on how to make an apple disappear into a tabletop (and how to pull it back out again). No magic required.

25 Dec

People say that floating in the air or straightforward levitation is impossible. Everything is possible if you can use Photoshop! 3D-Printing Pen: Draw Sculptures with this Magical Marker

21 Feb

3d printing pen

2D or 3D? Drawing or sculpture? These dichotomies break down as you build up a physical model using a traditionally two-dimensional technique, tracing lines in the air that harden in real time to form objects.

From the creators of 3Doodler, currently running a Kickstarter campaign: “It’s a pen that can draw in the air! 3Doodler is the 3D printing pen you can hold in your hand. Lift your imagination off the page! 3Doodler is the world’s first and only 3D Printing Pen.”

3d drawing sculpture examples

Unlike many (even smaller and simpler) 3D printers, this device does not require a savvy geek to get it going: “Using ABS plastic (the material used by many 3D printers), 3Doodler draws in the air or on surfaces. It’s compact and easy to use, and requires no software or computers. You just plug it into a power socket and can start drawing anything within minutes.”

Its uses range from practical small repairs to craft projects and even complex little structures, once you get the hang of it. They offer free stencils and templates to help you learn to create trusses and other rigid forms that will stand up and out from the page.

Colchicum ‘Lilac Wonder’ flower growing timelapse Filmed by Neil Bromhall for www.rightplants4me.co.uk These flowers bloom in autumn. Plant in well drained soil. If the soil is too wet the bulbs are prone to rotting. This was filmed in my studio over a period of 6 days using Nikon D300 camera, Ellinchrom studio flash, Exposure interval 8 minutes The damaged flower was chewed by an unknown pest underground before it emerged. It was probably a slug Music “Gently” by Debbie Wiseman

Magical Istanbul (HD)

03 Nov

Istanbul, one of the most magical places on Earth, the meeting point where East meets West, the only city in the world located between two continents: Asia and Europe. First Byzantium, then Constantinople, Istanbul has been the capital of three great empires. This is my trip to this amazing metropolis on the Bosphorus. Shot in 1080p high definition video with my Nikon D5100. Edited with Adobe Premiere CS5. Enjoy the magic of Istanbul!
