Sigma 100-400mm F5-6.3 DG DN OS sample gallery

Sigma’s 100-400mm F5-6.3 for full-frame Sony mirrorless (and L-mount cameras) offers quite a bit of reach for under $ 1000. It’s a bit slower than some of Sony’s own E-mount telephoto zooms, but it’s a comparably light and affordable alternative for FE shooters looking to add a telezoom to their kits. It may be video-centric, but we don’t want to neglect the Sony a7S III’s still photography capabilities. We’ve done a little shooting with our pre-production model in the great outdoors as well as the great indoors – this is lockdown life, after all. We got our hands on a beta build of the latest version of Adobe Camera Raw with support for Canon EOS R6 Raw files and we’ve added a selection of of Raw conversions to our previously-published sample images. Take a look and get a sense of what this new full-framer is capable of in terms of Raw image quality.

Canon EOS R5 sample gallery: from the mountains to the sound

As soon as we got our hands on a production Canon EOS R5, we set off to visit some of our favorite photo spots around Washington State to see what it can do. We put its all-new 45MP sensor to work photographing mountain towns, sunset over Puget Sound and a comet making its appearance in the night sky. Our testing has just begun, but for now take a look at some of our first sample images.

Nikon Z 24-200mm F4-6.3 VR sample gallery

The Nikon Z 24-200mm F4-6.3 VR is a multipurpose zoom lens for Nikon’s full-frame Z-mount cameras. Intended to be a ‘do anything’ lens, the 24-200mm should be perfect for travel and everyday photography.

As such, we’ve been shooting with the 24-200mm in as many different situations as we can find. Check out our gallery of samples to see how it performs.
