The Tokina 11-16mm f/2.8 lens if often recommended for crop sensor cameras. But I’ve had a hard time finding video footage of the lens in use. So Along with a short review I’ve taken the time to demonstrate the Tokina 11-16 in video mode on my canon 7d. Equipment used: Canon 7d, Sigma 24 1.8, tokina 11-16, and zoom h4n

The 50-150mm f/2.8 EX DC OS HSM APO Lens for Nikon F from Sigma is a fast f/2.8 telephoto zoom lens with a 50-150mm focal length (75-225mm equivalent in 35mm format) designed for cameras with a Nikon F mount. This long autofocus telephoto gets you close to the action, and it has an optical image stabilization system that makes it possible to hand-hold the lens at up to four shutter speeds slower than usual, while maintaining sharp, shake-free images. The Hyper Sonic Motor (HSM) gives you quiet, high-speed autofocus, and also allows full-time manual focus override. Six SLD glass elements help prevent chromatic aberrations, and provide excellent image quality throughout the zoom range. Super Multi Coating on the glass surfaces reduces flare and ghosting, and helps ensure high-contrast images. The 9-blade diaphragm gives a very pleasing quality to the out-of-focus areas of your photos (generally known as bokeh). A built-in tripod collar provides a solid mount when it’s placed on a tripod. Carl Zeiss has said it will offer its recently-announced Apo Sonnar T* 2/135 and Distagon T* 2.8/15 in the Micro Four Thirds mount. We suspect some of the people willing to spend the $ 2000 and $ 2950 these lenses command will also have DSLR systems, and will continue to buy these lenses in Nikon (ZF.2) or Canon (ZE) mount and adapt them to Micro Four Thirds, but it’s a positive move to see the mount being natively supported.
We’re trying to review the lens with the longest name in the world. In this video, we take a look at a Tokina lens that could be a cheap alternative to those Canon and Nikon ultra-wide zooms. Pricing reference: www.digitalrev.com Video Rating: 4 / 5

This video will help you fix or repair your stiff zoom ring problems with the NIkon 24-70mm f2.8. Disclaimer: Doing this will void your Nikon Warranty! Only do this if your warranty is expired, Nikon refuses to fix your stiff zoom ring, you need your lens ASAP and dont want to wait to get it back, angry at the world, jumping ship to Pentax. lol. UPDATE*** 02/06/11 – SOLD my Nikkor 24-70 to my nikon buddy who will use this lens more than me, he is a wedding photographer, and the lens zoom ring is still smooth and doesn’t stick or get stuck at all.

Just Posted: our preview of the Panasonic Lumix G X Vario 35-100mm F2.8 OIS. The 35-100mm F2.8 is Panasonic’s second constant aperture zoom for Micro Four Thirds and is designed to cover the classic 70-200mm equivalent range. It does so in a relatively compact lens that matches the company’s existing 12-35mm F2.8 bright standard zoom. The lens we have isn’t ready for the rigors of studio testing, so isn’t part of the relaunch of lens reviews just yet, but is ‘final’ enough for us to be allowed to publish a full-resolution samples gallery.
