21 Feb

www.FroKnowsPhoto.com D3000/D31000 Super Secret Project Join me backstage as I capture images from the dressing room to backstage to the pit. I shot the entire day using the Nikon D3000 and various pieces of Nikon glass. The video was captured with the Nikon D3S and Nikon 16mm Fisheye. I got to spend the day with Philadelphia based rock band Automatic Fire and capture behind the scenes images. Sit back and watch what happens back stage while I am capturing images. You will get to follow the journey from the dressing room to the stage for sound check and finally the show. Mixed in the entire video you will see the images that were captured at that particular time along with all technical information. At the end of the video there is a special “bootleg” recording of “Shake” by automatic fire www.theautomaticfire.com cut to a live performance as well as live photos cut in. Find 32 more videos at www.AssignmentConstruct.com .Transcript of this video Hi, I’m John Harrington and we’re going to break out and break down the wide variety of equipment we use to deliver images to our clients. Next we are going to show you one of the equipment kits we use when we are traveling on assignment. Each kit is different and has a very specific purpose. So lets take a look. This kit is our Nikon kit. It houses our D3, a D2X; a primary and a backup. We use a 12-24 DX lens, 70-200 2.8, 24-70 2.8, 17-55 DX 2.8, 2X teleconverter. We’ve got a Speedlight SB-800; it’s got the tungsten gel on the front. The reason we use the tungsten gel or a fluorescent gel is to mask the color temperature in the room we’re working in. These are obviously interchangeable, so we can use them depending on the situation we’re in. We use a tungsten or a fluorescent gel. We have extra double A batteries. We have three think tank cardholders. We really like these cardholders because we can hold a large number of cards; and we can put our unused cards at the top and our used cards reversed on the bottom. What we do with our cards when we’re done shooting them is instead of having them in upwards; we have them in upside down. That’s an indicator to us that we’ve shot on the card and this card needs to be downloaded. Underneath, we have 17-35 2.8, and we have a 300 2.8. In addition on the 300 2.8, we have a 1.4 teleconverter as well. So between the 2X teleconverter and the 1.4X
