Tamron has revealed that it will be making its 18-200mm F/3.5-6.3 Di III VC superzoom in Canon EF-M mount. In a week of unparalleled excitement for EOS M owners, it becomes the fifth autofocus lens for the two year old system, and the first from a third-party manufacturer. With a 29-320mm equivalent range, it features a stepping motor for silent autofocus, and optical image stabilization. Sales will start in the USA on June 26, at $ 499.
Sigma’s 18-200mm F3.5-6.3 DC Macro OS HSM | C is the latest version of its popular stabilized superzoom lens for APS-C / DX format SLRs. It’s smaller and lighter than the previous model (the 18-200mm F3.5-6.3 II DC OS HSM from 2011), but offers an updated optical design with improved close-focusing abilities. Sigma shipped us a sample a few days ago so we could try it out and we’ve been running around (in typically unpredictable Seattle weather) getting some real-world samples. CES 2014: Sigma has announced the 18-200mm F3.5-6.3 DC Macro OS HSM | C, a superzoom lens for APS-C / DX format SLRs. With a 28-300mm equivalent zoom range, it’s smaller and lighter than its predecessor, and has a shorter minimum focus distance. It will be available in Canon, Nikon, Pentax, Sigma, and Sony mounts; as usual the Pentax and Sony versions won’t have optical stabilisation. Availability is still to be confirmed but Sigma USA has set a recommended price of $ 399.
This is the first actual video I’ve put together (with the help of a friend w/ editing) with my Canon 60d. It shoots GREAT video in 1080 @ 30fps and 720 @60fps. All of these were shot with the 18-200mm lens (that came in the kit) on Sanibel Island Florida and Ft. Meyers Florida. LOTS more 60d HD videos to come so subscribe to check em out right when they do!! Video Rating: 5 / 5

Here I go again, spotlighting the detail captured in old fashioned film photography. This time it’s a frame of 35mm positive film (Fuji Provia-100). Scanned with a Nikon Coolscan 9000ED, this frame of film becomes a 30 megapixel file. While the Canon 5D MkII and Nikon’s D3x offer resolution very close to 30 megapixels, neither is a match for the detail and tonal quality captured by film.

The lens will be available for Canon, Nikon, Sigma, Pentax and Sony systems (without optical stabilization on the last two mounts). MSRP will be $ 720. News: Digital Photography Review (dpreview.com)

After having this lens for 4+ months, I want to report some issues I have had with this lens. Also the repair experience I have had with Sigma.
I got the EasyCap D60, everything works fine besides sometimes my USB ports do not recognise it and when I record it works out alright then it goes all weird and freezes as you can see in this video. So any help would be great thanks 🙂
