Every 15 minutes the camera took a picture, then was moved 2.5″ to the left to take another picture (motor driven). Each pair of pictures was made into an anaglyph for viewing in 3D. You must wear red/cyan glasses to view this in 3D. There were a total of 125 anaglyphs, each one made manually!
Fujifilm has made a fresh attempt at the stereoscopic 3D camera with the launch of the Finepix W1 at the IFA electronics show in Berlin. The rather large device is essentially two cameras in one body so lets you take 3D images or two 2D images at the same time so you can, for example, shoot both tele and wide angle shots at the same time.
