Just a Day in Zurich – Panasonic GH2

30 Dec

Bought 2 months ago a GH2 and just filmed some moments in zurich. It’s my first time i filmed and cut a film so i know it’s not perfect 😉 Font is from the Movie “Drive” 😉 Would be happy if you give a thumb up 🙂 Thanks! All clips are the original file from the GH2, just the dayclips (till 1:53) are a bit colorgraded. Filmed with the Panasonic GH2 – some unhacked Clips and some at 44Mbit/s GOP3. Lenses were most the Sigma 50mm f/1.4. Some scenes with the Nikkor 18-200mm and Panasonic Pancake 20mm f/1.7. Cut in Adobe Premiere CS5. In the video range, the GH2 Is way better than any Canon DSLR. Every test you read or watch will tell it.

Hi 🙂 Tanks! No, the Pancake 20mm and 18-200mm Nikkor was just used in day, the night shots were all taken with the Sigma 50mm 1.4, but with the pancake you reach almost such a good “night-quality” as with the 50mm, but in my opinion the pancake is a little bit too sharp, look at 00:49

    best regards

Nice film! Is the scene where the pancake lens was used dark time?

normally 29min and 59sec. With the hacked Firmware until your memory is full or battery is down 🙂

How long can you shoot continuesly with the GH2?

This footage is so sharp and rich, the canon T4i is around this cameras price range and I have been debating about which one to get. This footage kicks the ass out of other footage that I’ve seen shot with the T4i. Bravo

Most Shots are unhacked, some with 44mbit and GOP3 with the PTool – Google is your friend ;)
