Thanks very much for the info .
The card cost is a tad high In the UK its around £74 for a 16gb class 10 I normally run twin 32GB SDs one RAW plus a back up these I got for £78 for the pair. That said for press work I can see a big advantage as for the work you do in the studio, so its handy to have one in your kit but for general field work IMHO a decent HC standard card is still the best choice.

Yup, just configure the card for “direct mode” so that it will create a network if no preconfigured ones are available – and connect your phone to it!

Great video! Now, are the photos downloaded to you tablet, via eye-fi, just a temporary file? Another question, can external hard drives be connected to tablets to transfer you pics when out in the field?

I was looking on line for additional information about eye-fi cards and after coming to one of your videos I appreciated you getting to the point without showing the box being opened and the contents taking up half of the video time. Then seeing another link you had that interested me I ended up learning other great camera facts from a half dozen of you videos. Your videos that I have seen get to the point and are explained well. Thank you and keep up the good work.

Just finished up photographing the Twilight premiere in Trondheim using a EyeFi pro x2 with my D800. It’s a bit unstable, not as quick as I would like it to be. And it’s not officially supported by EyeFi. Hoping CamRange comes with Android or MS software soon 🙂

    SnapChick,

Was there a special reason why you chose not to use the native Eye-Fi app on your iPad?

I don’t feel snapchick is making these videos to be a role model to her female or male audience. All that I see is an extremely attractive woman that is always polite to her viewers and just about always replies to comments. And has a passion for her work and wants to help other be sharing her knowledge and experiences with others.

I agree that she’s not what I’d call a role model for young women. This video is bit too long.

Innuendo? You may be looking for something that’s not there. I’m also not what you would call an African Leopard Tortoise. I can’t be everything to everyone.
