I have this camera and absolutely love it, very versatile and amateurs (like myself) can take fantastic shots with ease

you used the 18-55 lens in this video?
Isn’t 55-300mm lens best for landscape filming?

This helps in EVERY WAY! thanks a lot for the information man! I think i am going to buy this camera. i can probably deal with the time lapse feature, but as long as it doesn’t affect my filmmaking. haha. but ill make a deal with it. and like i said – THANKS A LOT!!!!!!!!!!!! you truly helped my decision. I Hope you have fun with the camera and good luck on your photography and film!

I was exactly in your position. I love photography and film making.. so i went for a gamble and got the D3100.. so far I love it, great image and video quality, great settings.. the only thing i dont like about it is theres no time lapse feature. Otherwise i completely recommend it. It was around $650 but it was on sale, i also got a 55-300mm lens so it was $950 total.. it does come with an 18-55 mm lens (i used it in this video) though. Hope this helps!

hey! im lookin at some cameras around amazon and i want to make a direct choice on which one i want. see, im an amatuer filmaker and im also into photography as much as filming. is this the camera perfect to meet both of my expectations for film and photo. if it is, then how much is it on the internet and stores?
