hey, can you show me a video of your lens fitting your lens pouch? I just want to see if it totally fits, including the hood, and you can close it. Cuz the one I bought, its really tight, and I cant even add the hood to make it fit, and yes the hood is inside out, not sticking out.

Yeah the ring is definitely stiff at first especially having used all kit lenses prior to that but once you get this lens it’s not going to come off your camera and you get used to it very quickly. Went back to a kit lens once and about broke it because I turned it so hard lol. The zoom ring also sits far back on this lens much closer the the camera body but just as with the stiffness after minimal usage you won’t even notice either of those issues. It’s definitely recommended.
The common complaint about the 17-55 f2.8 is its stiff zoom ring. Now that it’s been almost a year now, how does it work out for you?? Am considering of getting one at the moment.
Nice video, i am shooting d80 at the moment but will be upgrading to a D300 and this is the first lens i have chosen to buy with it

When u put on the hood be sure to put the knop on top. It the easily clicks.
