    Yah I bought used and I don’t think the previous owner sent it back to Canon, for the fix….. 🙁 What ever It just means a little more manual focus practice for me! 🙂

    have you tried upgrading the firmware? I’ve heard that it does fix the focussing troubles, although it won’t be as good as the MkIV (obviously).

    It’s either the 17-40L or the 16-35L (II).
