This works on any of the Canon DIGIC III/IV DSLRs except the 1D* series. This means it will work for the 40D, the 50D, the 450D and the 1000D. It will not work on the 1D*, 5D, 10D, 20D, 30D, 300D, 350D, and 400D and the 500D.
THIS IS FOR HP battery type of printers only. Even with a battery, some printers might not work. If this doesn’t work you may try disconnecting all the connectors on the circuit board for an hour or look for a software reset method. Even though I collect lots of HP printers as a hobby, I’m clueless about most of them. This video is how to reset the ink on your HP printer. There’s no need to dissemble the printer to get to the battery. A long pair of tweezers to pull the CMOS battery out from its casing for a short time will work just fine. If you are tired of taking your empty cartridges to cosco or a specialist to refill them…visit SiloInk.com and see why you don’t have to anymore. I promise it’ll be the last ink cartridge you’ll ever buy.
You don’t have to bypass dates no 364/564. Simply click OK and you can print further! Beware though, that if no real ink comes out of the head, you will burn your printing head. Or think about installing CISS system.
If it prints blanks, then you have already burned printing heads. Congrats!
Never operate a thermal ink-jet (canon, hp, lexmark) without ink! You can spot absence of ink by immediate head movement slowdown. Immediately stop it, or – 5-6 seconds and its dead.
If you think the printing heads might be ok, try using special head cleaning fluid. But as you say “prints blanks”, you probably dry-printed more than a page, so the chances now are ZERO. Sorry!
You can solve that by getting CISS.

the only problem? my printer finally started to take paper and pretend to print, cartidges are fine(?) problem is it prints blanks hp c4640…. please help!

On 7200 or 6200 series all you need to do is suck back any remaining ink with a syringe. then put back the cartridge and print untill you get the message cartridge empty or depleted ( i cannot remeber) then refill and put it back and it will restore the today date 🙂 work for me all the times

All major brands have a insane markup on ink prices, This is where the make the majority of there money. In alot of cases they sell the printers at a loss (below production / shipping costs), and rely on the ink sells to make up for it.
Video editor software needs to have a Spell Checker.

My printer gave an “out of ink” error and refused to print. I searched for a solution and found this video. Just as I read the bit about disconnecting the battery the printer sprang into action and printed my page. Number 5 is alive!!
