Don’t know what to say… guess you got a bad copy of the Sigma here. I’ve used Nikon VR-I & VR-II, the Canon and the Sigma and they’re pretty close in performance. Also I’d like to point out that the Sigma 70-200mm f2.8 ‘BEATS’ the Canon 70-200mm f2.8L IS USM in DXOMark’s testing…. check it out. I’m not saying any of the lenses I’ve listed here are better then the other… just saying your test is seriously flawed. All of these 70-200mm 2.8 lenses are all very close in performance.
